Black Is — Lia J. Latty

Five years online, then paper. Black Is went to print in May with an issue titled Legacy and Continuity in Black Photographic Practice, launched at Charm City Cultural Cultivation in Waverly over Artscape weekend. Lia J. Latty started the site from Baltimore in January 2021 and still runs it alone. The database of every photographer she has interviewed is the real asset.
