He told XXL this summer the record is for the working man and that he was finished being unrelatable, which is a real pivot from a rapper who came up under Sada Baby making some of the coldest regional records in a city full of them. The reason he sits here rather than higher is that none of it has landed. What is out is the rollout — 50 Cent in the trailer, Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller on 'Face Card,' seven producers on 'Show Me Love' — and his last full-lengths, The Coldest in April and Crack Music 3, are two years back.
