Niyi Okeowo

Niyi Okeowo
Niyi Okeowo starts with the lyrics and ends with a typeface. The Lagos designer behind Fireboy DML's Apollo, Wande Coal's Realms and two volumes of Show Dem Camp's Palmwine Music calls a cover a dialogue between artist and designer, which is a polite way of saying a prompt cannot have one. He also co-founded the magazine Get Unruly and runs creative at Kuda, a Nigerian payments company. The hedge is the read: cover work alone no longer pays.
