Bars & Noble 4 is the fourth installment of Heem's own series inside Black Soprano Family: ten tracks, one producer throughout in Big Bro Wavy, guests held to BenStreetz and Illy Foo, out August 28 on IAMHEEM LLC rather than through the label machine he helped found. Benny commands and Rick Hyde calculates; Heem sits lower and closer, and “The Uptown Story” is where the writing stops performing. Buffalo has produced a decade of this. Almost none of it has needed a rollout.
