Gangrene — Better Than McDonald's

The Alchemist and Oh No's fifth as Gangrene, out Jul 17 — eleven tracks, with Estee Nack, Boldy James, Armand Hammer, Rome Streetz, Ab-Soul, Meyhem Lauren and Wildchild. The premise still holds: two producers who both rap, choosing loops on the basis of how ugly they are, each handing the other the beat no paying client would take. But this one landed lighter than the catalogue — writers who love the duo are calling it their least favourite, and the deliberately AI-looking cover (hand-painted, Al insists) ate more oxygen than the record did.
