AHABAN — Ajepomaa Design Gallery

AHABAN — Ajepomaa Design Gallery
Named for the Akan word for leaf. Handwoven Aso Oke, Fugu, organza and cotton batik cut from deadstock pulled out of GTP's mills in Accra — the material sourcing is not a sustainability footnote, it is the argument. Most houses working this lane say heritage and mean print. Ajepomaa names the weave, the mill and the origami pleating technique on the product page, which is the whole difference between a story and a receipt. Priced in cedis first, dollars second. That ordering matters.
