A Room Full of Mirrors

The name came out of a session. Punch heard eight people from eight different places reflecting each other back on a song called “Believer,” and said out loud that he was standing in a room full of mirrors. A mirrored room, as a form, usually means one person multiplied for a camera; this one means eight who can see themselves in each other. Punch, Daylyt, Nick Grant, Lyric Michelle, Ichiban Don, Billymaree, Jrias Law, Earlee Riser, Hari, and Punch has always insisted it is not a group. Daylyt shoots and edits video, Lyric Michelle directs, which is why Money Bags landed in December 2021 as a film before it was an eight-track EP. The catch is the calendar. The last record under the collective's own name was “105” with Freeway in December 2024, and Punch's 2026 verse went to Nick Grant's album instead.
